MILK TEETH

Ten days after giving birth, a new mother’s terrifying visions start coming true, but her family calls it postpartum paranoia. Discovering that generations of women in her bloodline were silenced and locked away for the same gift, she must master ancestral Jewish mysticism before she becomes the next to be locked away and her daughter inherits the same fate.

Ingrid Haas is a filmmaker, writer, actor, and producer based in Los Angeles. Her films have screened at SXSW, Sundance, and Fantasia, including Still Wylde, The Pink, and PUSH, a PSA about stillbirth. As a writer, her work has appeared on Netflix/CBC’s Workin’ Moms, Vice, and the Wondery podcast The Moment. She is also the creator of The Messy Middle on Substack, where she writes about the indignities of being alive. A Canadian Comedy Award winner, her favorite roles to date are being a mother IRL and playing a Heinz mustard bottle in a national commercial. Newly minted US citizen but Canada will always be home.
