My Country
Inspired by a true story: After fleeing persecution in Tehran and fighting for Israel’s independence, Persian-Jewish dreamer Oz Nahai rebuilds an abandoned fishing village, only for the army to order him off the land. Oz refuses and declares his land an independent micro-nation, beginning a decades-long struggle to build a home of his own while both honoring and defying the country he helped create.
Joseph has been a WGA member since 2017 and has sold several television series to major studios. He currently has a limited series in development with Skydance Sports. In addition to television, he works in politics, most recently writing ads for U.S. Senate races in multiple battleground states.
