Son of Star

Son of a Star tells the true story of Bar Kochba and the final Jewish rebellion against Roman rule 62 years after the destruction of the Second Temple. When Rabbi Akiva anoints Bar Koseba —”Bar Kochba” — aka the Messiah, Jewish tribes rally to his side to take on the great Roman army in an effort to restore Jewish rule to Judea. However, Rome has other ideas as Emperor Hadrian summons his most vicious general, Severus, to crush the rebellion once and for all.
