Teddy

Teddy is inspired by the real life stories of Teddy Kollek during the period he was sent on a mission by David Ben-Gurion, then the future first PM of Israel, to find and purchase weapons and ammunition in the US for the upcoming Israeli war of independence. Ben-Gurion recognized Teddy’s super-power to influence people to act for his cause, usually against their own interests, and almost always against the law.

Born in Jerusalem in 1991, Dikla studied film at the Steve Tisch School of Film and Television at Tel Aviv University. She has worked as an actress and screenwriter on various Israeli film and television projects, and directed several short films that were screened at film festivals around the world.
